From 2017 to 2022 I was combining my passion for creativity and love of fast cars working as the Director of Marketing for an automotive dealer group. From creative strategy to content management, media buying, and crisis comms, I essentially functioned as a one-person, full-service, in-house agency. I became the go-to person to lead strategic initiatives, build brand awareness, and put out fires (which seemed to always happen on Friday afternoons).
Prior to that I worked as the Marketing Coordinator for the Oregon State University Memorial Union. I helped build a long-term marketing plan from scratch and find new ways to engage students while also increasing revenue across the different businesses in the organization.
In the past year I cofounded a Creative Strategy Consulting agency with a friend and once that was off and running I decided to step away from the day to day to find my next challenge.
I found that challenge with QA1 Motorsport as their Content Marketing Strategist. Unfortunately that role has come to a pre-mature end and I find myself joining the ranks of hundreds of others who have found themselves laid off and having to leave a job they were enjoying.
Since 2018 I have also found joy and creative passion as a freelance photographer / content creator. I generated creative assets and social media coverage for brands to promote their events, sponsors, and products. This included photos and videos used on social media, websites, editorial content, press releases, and printed works. My work has been published in Forbes, Adweek, Avants, Grassroots Motorsport, and PRI Magazine.
I thrive when I’m around people and working as part of a team. I am flexible and adapt well to unique challenges and multi-faceted problem solving.
I’m looking for a role in creative strategy, social media, or content. I’m open to any industry but I have a passion for all things sports, consumer products, technology, and supporting creators. Bringing abstract ideas to life and finding unique solutions to problems fills me with energy. I am hoping that my next role can allow me to find that fuel while challenging me and teaching me new things.
I am looking to find a role in strategy, social media, or content working as part of a team. I have flown solo most of my career and want to find an opportunity to work with some talented folks! I’m open to an in house role or as part of an agency. I am unable to relocate right now so remote or in person in the Twin Cities.
I have a passion for all things sports, consumer products, technology, and supporting creators.
I’m looking for a role where I can continue to learn and grow my skill sets. Ideally in a collaborative environment that invites creativity, problem solving, and diversity.
I am looking for a role that provides me leadership opportunities, a collaborative environment, and the ability to make a difference with my work.
I left my role with the dealership group as I didn’t feel challenged. I didn’t feel that I was growing or learning.
I left my role with the agency I co-founded as it was always intended to be a short term role.
I left my most recent role with QA1 due to company downsizing / layoffs.
